What Motherhood Has Taught Me: A Series Pt. 4

Guest Blog Post By: Kendall Niccum

Unconditional love.

Emotionally exhausting.

Unapologetic.

Grateful.

Constantly Worried.

My heart outside my body.

All of these things, I feel deeply on the daily. Motherhood is not for the faint of heart, it is damn right tiring and trying, but nothing replaces the feeling of knowing you have brought caring little humans into this world.

Motherhood has taught me to be okay with chaos, question the silence and embrace my mom “tribe.” It has taught me patience, perspective and perseverance. It has taught me that not everyone will parent the same and that is okay. It has taught me to lean hard into my own mother for support, guidance and hugs.

There are good days and there are bad days, but every day I thank God that I was given the ability to give love to three kiddos that have taught me more about myself than I could have ever imagined.
