✨ MA Tip Monday✨

(Not all MA Tips are posted on my blog. To see the full collection of MA Tips, head on over to my Instagram Page: @mamma_arianna)

As kiddos all across the country gear up to head back to school in these upcoming weeks, today’s MA Tip is a gentle reminder that this year hasn’t just been rough on us adults, but our kiddos have been dragged through it as well.

Whether they were learning in person last year, homeschooled, or learning virtually, “school” is going to look and feel different to them this year in some way, shape, or form.

Remember to give them room to process these emotions, and remember that their method of processing might take place in the form of tantrums, meltdowns, moodiness, or even unexplained bouts of energy.  Every kiddos is different, and every kiddo is different in the way that they express themselves.  Before addressing the initial behavior, take a pause and ask yourself, “Is this current behavior an expression of something else that they aren’t quite able to put words to right now?”

YOU are their safe place to land. YOU are their safe place to unravel. Take lots of deep breaths and remember that you have what it takes to parent your children well.

You’ve got this Mamma! 👊🏽
